Worship Experience

There is no specific way to worship that God will honor more than another, but we also cannot limit what worship looks like. Worship is expressed in a large variety of ways in scripture. Sometimes people danced, lifted their hands, shouted for joy, sang spiritual songs and played instruments. Other times they kneeled or laid with their faces to the ground in reverence. Worship can be expressed through tears, laughter, shouts of praise, and even groanings too deep for words. All were worship then, and all are worship now. At High Point, students are free to experience the Lord knowing that He shows up in a vast amount of ways. While we don’t want to get caught up in emotion, God uses emotion to move us closer to Him. At the end of the day we know that where God is honored and welcomed, He moves in mighty ways!
